Alexandra Dodds
Alexandra Dodds is a New Zealand jewellery designer with a Fine Arts background, known for her experimental, process-driven approach. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, she embraces the unintentional textures that form during creation, such as melted wax or fingerprints, which add depth to her sculptural pieces.
Self-taught and later trained in metalsmithing, casting, and stone setting, Alexandra combines traditional techniques with a modern twist. Each piece is made to order in limited editions, handcrafted in her Chippendale studio. She also offers bespoke services, creating unique engagement rings, wedding bands, and special occasion jewellery for clients locally and internationally.
